We are happy to announce the re-signing of In Vain! This is celebrated with a performance at the Indie Recordings label night at Blastfest and the release of the two first In Vain albums on vinyl!

Johnar Håland (guitarist of In Vain): “More than 10 years ago a bunch guys in their early 20s were excited to sign their first record deal. In a retrospective, and following the great success and expansion of Indie Recordings, we are proud to say we were the first band to ever sign with this label. It has been a great ride so far and we have released three great albums together. Today, In Vain is pleased to confirm that we have signed a deal for two more albums. We are proud to be a part of such a strong roster, and Indie Recordings as a label has never been stronger.

As a celebration of our renewed pact we are releasing In Vain’s first two albums, The Latter Rain (2007) and Mantra (2010), on limited vinyl. These releases will be available at Blastfest, where In Vain will make an exclusive performance as a part of the Indie Recordings’ label night.
We are looking forward to more years of great music and companionship.”

In Vain’s two first albums, "The Latter Rain" and "Mantra", are both finally available on vinyl! Get your copy at Blastfest (Wolf's Lair stand) or at our web shop. The release date is Feb 19th.

"We are very happy and extremely humble to have In Vain re-signed to Indie Recordings. Throughout the years they have developed a truly unique musical expression, positioning them as one of the most interesting bands in the progressive metal scene. Their sense of musicality and dedication to their art is an invaluable addition to Indie Recordings, and we couldn’t be happier to prolong our partnership. Without In Vain there might have never been Indie Recordings, as their amazing demos was what inspired us to start the label." - Erlend Gjerde, managing director of Indie Recordings

In Vain play at the Indie Recordings label night this Saturday, Feb 20th at Blastfest! On Sardinen stage at 21.00.
